The Ninja Slim booth was amazing, the overwhelming response to the show blew us all away. Thank you for all that attended the Ninja slim Panel, and subsequent dinner. We really enjoyed meeting with all the fans. Now that that is done, we are going to start getting these new episodes aired! The reaction to our 2 minute reel was amazing, so I'm sure you'll love what we have coming up for you next!

What's going on??

Well, yeah, it's been quiet around here. We don't know what happened. We came in one day and our doors were locked, our computers were gone, and our offices emptied. We've sat around for the last 3 months calling and trying to figure out what had happened. No one would return our calls. We figured we were out of work, so we all started looking for jobs elsewhere. Some of the writers tried to take Ninja Slim to other companies, none of which would look at it. Apparently somehow we were blacklisted from the industry.

Two of our core animators tried to fly back home to Australlia to get their lives back together, but they were shut down at the airport and held in confinement for a day then sent back home. All in all it wasn't looking good.

Today we all got a call, from an unamed source to meet at Dos Compadres, the fancy Mexican restaurant down the road. There we found our old execs, that sat us down but would not answer any of our questions. They just smiled smuggly as we tried to see what the hell was going on, they encouraged us to drink and eat and be merry. After a while they asked us why none of us ever thought it was strange that we kept getting paid. No one answered, they then paid the bill and took us outside, where we then were shuttled accross town. We finally saw what the fuss was about, a 12-story digital production studio. NS Studios LLC, they had been building us the studio for the last 6 months (without our knowledge) and thought we needed a break. Unfortunately they couldn't tell us anything about it, so our break was more tragic than relaxing, but the good news is we're all very thrilled to be back.

Happy New Year from Ninja Slim Studios! As you may have noticed we shut down for a few days there to relax for the holidays. There has been so much going on here, we've really ramped up for the next episode, which will be airing very shortly. Thanks for the kind letters, and we'll be back with more, Ninja Slim.

After the defeat of Robot Destructo, the Red Ninja finds he is being tailed. The mysterious stranger once again showed up at the fall of the mighty Robot Destructo, his presence was mysterious indeed. Unbeknownst to the Mysterious Stranger, there was a hidden spy for the Red Ninja. Who now returns to share the information of what he did, and didn't see...

This episode is ground breaking in many ways, we had a long fight with the Exec's to let us get this one aired. The episode deals with some pretty heavy subject matter, and is to be viewed at your own discretion.

The Mysterious Stranger is seen walking away from an intense conversation, who knows if that is what lead to the happenings that were to follow. The Red Ninja has the belt of power. He was in his lab with his trophy head of his fallen enemy, when he received a note. This note startled the Red Ninja and caused him to deploy his evil robot.

Big Season 2 News

Yes that's right... Season 2! New episodes are in the works. The team has been very busy with the scripts for the new season, and the first 3 episodes are in early production stages. We are sure you'll all be very pleased.

There has been some major and minor underlining changes to the procedure. A lot has been streamlined, as well as some new approaches were taken to try to bring the Ninja Slim universe to you better than ever. We won't bore you with details, but we all feel that the new process will help in some great amazing new episodes. Ninja Slim will be pushing the limits of what's possible in movies.

Petition a Success??

Well the petition looks like to have been a success! With an overwhelming number of people signing it, it looks like the Execs are re-thinking they're strategy for Ninja Slim. We don't know what they've decided, or if they have, but we will be seeing something in the future of Ninja Slim. We don't know if it means a DVD, a new season, a movie, a flip-book, what, but there is a lot of talk going around, and we don't want to start any rumors... but something is happening!

Lost Uncut Ending to Episode 9

Since not much movement has been made by the Execs, we have decided to 'leak' a peice of lost footage from Season 1. This is something that the Execs had us pull from the final cut of Episode 9-3 due to the graphic nature of it. This is just a piece of what will hopefully be included on the DVD Box set if released. Make sure to sign the petition, the execs are looking at it, and starting to rethink their strategy.

Ninja Slim Season 1 Uncut

Ok, while we are waiting for the Execs to find out about a possible season 2, there is some good news. Rumors that started out on the radio have caused some attention to the show, about a possible Season 1 DVD Package. It looks like it MAY happen, but not 100% yet. There still is a lot of money involved and planning.

All of us at the studio would love to see it come out, we have a few great behind the scenes footage of production, the Episode 9-3 world premiere live, and even a few 'extended' un-cut scenes we'd love to fit back into the episodes. It would be the ULTIMATE collectors item... now we just have to see if we can get it approved.

The Future of Ninja Slim

Well, Episode 9-3 has completed. The final episode of Season 1 was Episode 9. I hope everyone enjoyed this season, it was a great success. The Studio execs were 'pleased' with the numbers, the money was good, but they have yet to accept a 2nd Season.

We are not discouraged, they have not said 'No' but they have not said 'Go and do it', we will wait and see. Hopefully the fans will be heard and the series can continue. Good news is coming though... Stay Tuned.

Production Begins

The massive undertaking of Episode 9 has begun. Since this is the finale of the Season (less we get picked up again for another season... hint hint execs...) this episode will tie all the loose ends together. Episode 8 gave a glimpse of what is to come, and we assure you it will be worth the short wait.

Hello all, we let a few of the press in on the production of Episode 8. We did have them sign NDA forms so they will not be able to publish any details until it airs. The production is coming a long great. The sound crew is doing a great job with the actors, and the composer has some brilliant concepts. We think everyone will be pleased.

Major Site Re-Work

We finally got our new site design back from Singapore. We think they did a great job on all the episodes. We're still waiting on a few pages, but it looks great. This is just in time for the coming of Episode 8! Which isn't here yet, but it's coming along fantastic! The sound crew in Australia is doing a great job mixing the soundtrack for this episode. We're sure everyone will be pleased!

Rumors Rumors Rumors

Ok... the Exec's are breathing down our necks. We have to come out and address a couple rumors going on.
Bad rumors... First of all, NO unnanounced celebrity voices are going to appear on the show. A completely false rumor about Chris Rock was mentioned, but that was a misreading of an earlier interview where Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson mentioned interest in voice overs. Never specifically mentioning Ninja Slim, but we can confirm that this is not currently planned at all. So end to that rumor. (confirmed false)

Good rumors... Exec's may or may not approve a DVD Box set of the first season of Ninja Slim, including all 6 episodes plus the 3 part original pilot. Plus many other cool features we can pack in. (unconfirmed)

Mention of a 2nd season pick up or a possible Ninja Slim Movie are both unconfirmed, and are just rumors at this point. (unconfirmed)

Ninja Slim Merchandise, fans have been screaming [literally] for new Ninja Slim shirts and other merchandise. The rumor of new merchandise being available has been circulating since the announce of the 6 episode season. Well good news... this is true, stay tuned for Ninja Slim merchandise! (confirmed true)

Production Delays

Some of you are probably wondering where Episode 6 is, as it didn't release on schedule and we've been ran a re-run of Episode 3 instead. Well, Episode 5 was a huge production set back, the team had to expand, and training the new animators and folley people is taking time. In general the episodes now are running twice as long so the production time to make them is taking longer. Episode 6 is in the works, and will be out shortly, no need to worry.

Up and Running again!

Well we have great news! The Exec's have given the creative power back to the creators. The show will be allowed to run it's 6 episode season un-altered by the Executives as a show of support for the integrity of the show. (Also the bad press the Exec's were getting from the fans was probably a big help as wel!)

Thank you for your support and patience. We are proud to say that the teamsters have jumped back on board, and Episode 4 is in production as we speak! Get ready for a great season of Ninja Slim!

Studio Delays...

Well I guess we spoke too soon. Episode 4 has been put on haitus, the Exec's started to get worried about the show. They were trying to "refine" the story line, and take it in a new direction. Their input included a love interest for Ninja Slim, a guest voice by Ted McGinley, less focus on Ninja Slim's history. All these 'refinements' are against the creators original ideas. They can't seem to come to terms, and in the midst of all this waiting the teamsters have threatened to go on strike.

The good news is the show is tied to the creators so they can not be fired without taking Ninja Slim with them. Unfortunately that's all the news we have at the moment. In the meantime please enjoy our first 3 episode pilot.

Great News Everybody!

Ninja Slim got picked up for 6 brand new episodes! The creators are meeting with the execs to talk about the progression of the show. This can only be good news! We are all very excited and proud of the hard work everyone has put into getting the show to where it is today. Thank you all for your kind words and support. Creative Shift

Time for changes.

Times change, views change, stories change, but friends are forever. There was a hard decision today, but it had to be done. The original art team behind Ninja Slim have all been fired. Don't worry, this will not affect production on the remaining pilot series, we hope that this will indeed strengthen the series. The split came from artistic differences between the creators and the art design team. They did a fantastic job, we are all very pleased with their work on the first episode. And it will hold a place in our hearts forever.
